Q: What role does the social feed play?
A: The Social Feed is a block you can add to your Space which turns it into a living community. It allows members to share, discuss, and interact - making Spaces more than static hubs.
Q: What can I post on the social feeds?
A: You’ll be able to post text with attachments:
- up to six images in a single post
- a video
- a link to a piece of content (displayed as a content card)
- external URLS
- You can also mention other members of the space in your posts to notify them. Mentions are limited to users who are already members of that Space.
Q: What moderation tools will be available?
A: Members can flag posts or comments with a reason. Flagged items appear in the moderation inbox, where Space Admins and Super Admins can review and take actions such as delete or ignore.
Q: Will there be notifications for Social activities?
A: Yes, members will receive notifications for mentions, replies, likes, and when new posts are made in their Space. Admins also receive notifications for flagged content. Notification preferences follow existing platform settings.
Q: Does my Space have to be social?
A: No, if you don’t add the Social Feed block then your space will function more as a static information hub.
